Advertising booklet for Italian liqueur Martini Rossi.  This variation has text. "Superieur a Tous Les Turins" on middle panel.
The Martini & Rossi brand started in the mid-19th century as a vermouth bottling plant, Distilleria Nazionale di Spirito di Vino. Three men came to dominate the company, businessman Alessandro Martini, winemaker Luigi Rossi and accountant Teofilo Sola. In 1863 they changed the name to Martini, Sola & Cia. The Sola family sold out in 1879, and the company became known as Martini & Rossi. In 1904 the Rossi family took over the company and continued to run the business until 1977 when it was restructured as General Beverage Corporation.  In 1993 Martini & Rossi merged with Bacardi.

Mihailo Ilić or Major Ilic was one of the Javorskih hero, Serbian military leader, a warrior, a military writer, scholar and translator.  He  was a member of the Serbian learned society. His works are used as textbooks for military schools. He was killed in combat on the Jankovom  School, in the first Serbian-Turkish  war. His grave is located in Belgrade's new cemetery.
